The Secretary of State to the Minister of Honduras.
Washington, March 4, 1911.
Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge your communication of the 20th ultimo, reciting that pursuant to the convention dated January 10th, 1911, between the Republic of Honduras and the United States of America you have, on behalf of your Government and in accordance with its instructions, made and executed with the American banking group consisting of J. P. Morgan and Company, Kuhn, Loeb and Company, the National City Bank of New York, and the First National Bank of New York, a loan contract dated February 15th, 1911; and with the Guaranty Trust Company of New York as fiscal agent a contract securing the said loan, dated the same day.
I have also the honor to state that these agreements, made pursuant to the provisions of the convention of January 10, 1911, have under date of February 20, 1911, been duly and properly filed with the Department of State as provided in their articles 11 and 12, respectively.
