The Minister of Honduras to the Secretary of State.
Washington, February 20, 1911.
Sir: Pursuant to the convention dated January 10, 1911, between the Republic of Honduras and the United States of America, I have, on behalf of my Government and in accordance with its instructions, made and executed with an American banking group, consisting of J. P. Morgan & Co., Kuhn, Loeb & Co., the National City Bank of New York, and the First National Bank of New York, a loan contract, dated February 15, 1911; and with the Guaranty Trust Company of New York, as fiscal agent, a contract securing the said loan, dated the same day; both contracts being in the form already submitted to and approved by your Department. In accordance with the requirements of said contracts, I accompany an original executed counterpart of each contract1 in English and in Spanish, to be filed with the Department of State of the United States of America.
Kindly acknowledge the receipt of the said contracts as executed and filed in conformity to said convention.
