Port au Prince, June 1, 1912.

The stores of Ottoman Syrians, and those of Syrians of other nationalities who have not received licenses, were officially closed to-day. Two Americans were affected by this action, but the Haitian Government yesterday promised that their stores would not be closed and it is probable that adjustment in regard to them can be made.
