Sir: I have the honor to enclose herewith copy and translation of a note of the Dominican Legation to the Haitian Government relative to the boundary question.1 The copy was furnished me by the Dominican Legation. Since its receipt I have had several informal talks on the subject with Minister Henriquez and Secretary Léger. I have tried to impress both parties with the necessity for prompt action looking to the speedy settlement of the question rather than long discussions which accomplish nothing. * * *
