Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 11th instant in which you request such information as may be available concerning any wireless telegraph installations existing or proposed on the Isthmus of Panama.

In reply I have the honor to say that an appropriate instruction, based on your letter, has been sent to the American Minister at Panama City, and that, when a reply shall have been received, the Department will be glad to communicate further with you on the subject.
