Sir: I have the honor to enclose herewith three copies of the Official Gazette, dated March 30, 1912, containing Spanish text of the [Page 1100] new currency law1 enacted by the National Assembly of Nicaragua on March 20, 1912, as reported in my telegram of that date. I am also transmitting a copy of a letter1 addressed to me by Mr. Conant, the currency expert, with its enclosure of the English text of said law as prepared by the bankers who have the loan and monetary matters in charge.
