Referring to the memorandum of the 20th ultimo, in which the Embassy of Mexico stated that the authorities at Del Rio had stopped a shipment of arms and ammunition intended for Mexican insurgents, the Department of State has the honor to say that, it is informed by the Attorney General, in a letter dated March 25, 1911, that he is bringing the case to the attention of the appropriate United States attorney and is instructing him to investigate the matter and to take such proceedings in the premises as may be warranted by law.
