Sir: I have the honor to inclose herewith a copy of a note1 which I have received from the foreign office, dated the 31st ultimo, stating that Sir Edward Grey is informed by the British consul general at Monrovia that the Sierra Leone-Liberia frontier agreement has been ratified by the Government of Liberia. Sir E. Grey also expresses thanks for the action taken by this embassy and by the Department in facilitating the settlement of the question.
