The American Minister to the Secretary of State.
Santo Domingo, January 14, 1911.

A commission from Haiti is now at the frontier with the Haitian minister to Santo Domingo. Santo Domingo has also sent two commissioners. These commissioners and the Haitian commission are expected to arrive at some satisfactory modus vivendi. The Dominican troops are still at the scene, but are expected to be withdrawn very soon.
