Mr. Blaine to Señor de Zamacona.

Sir: Referring to my note of the 19th instant in reply to yours of the 13th relative to the depredations upon citizens of Mexico by outlaws, presumed to have their lurking place in Arizona Territory, I have now the honor and the pleasure to inform you that the Secretary of the Interior advises me that he has requested, by his letter of the 21st instant, the governor of that Territory to exert all means within his power to suppress such disturbances and to maintain quiet on the frontier.
