[124] Sir: I have conferred with Mr. Roberts, the Spanish minister, relative to the ram Atlanta,*the vessel referred to in your communication of the 10th instant, and as he appears to know no reason why that vessel should be longer detained, you are requested to instruct the collector of customs at the port of Philadelphia, where she is now lying, to take no further steps toward preventing her departure.
