Sir: Your despatch of June 13, (No. 174,) accompanied by Earl Russell’s final explanation on the case of the Emily St. Pierre, has been received.

We have been unable here to find the parallel case in the diplomatic correspondence referred to by you in connexion with this subject, and I reserve further remarks upon this case until you shall have been able to send it to us or direct our search for it.
