• Argentina Forces Throughout Falklands Surrender as of: 150430 Jun 82

(U) Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s office issued the following statement from BGEN. J. Moore, commander of British land forces. “In Port Stanley at 2100 hours 14 June, MGEN. Menendez surrendered to me all Argentine armed forces in East and West Falkland together with their impedimenta. Arrangements are in hand to assemble the men for return to Argentina, to gather in their arms and equipment and to mark and make safe their munitions”.²
