The following change has been made to Foreign Relations, 1981–1988, Volume VI, Soviet Union, October 1986–1989.

  • 1. Document 173, Footnote 5, Page 1172 (date of correction: February 4, 2019)
  • The reference to the 15th session of the United Nations General Assembly is in error. The footnote has been corrected from “Reference is to the 15th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which ended on June 25” to “The Conference on Disarmament met in Geneva July 7–September 20 for its second session of the year.”
