257. Editorial Note

On May 4, the United States and India signed an agreement providing for the sale to India of $1,276 billion worth of U.S. wheat and rice over a 4-year period under Title I of P.L. 480. The agreement was signed in Washington by President Eisenhower and S. K. Patil, Minister for Food and Agriculture.
