296. Editorial Note
At its 417th meeting on August 18, the National Security Council considered NSC 5910, “U.S. Policy on France.” This review included substantial discussion of Algeria. The section of the memorandum of discussion at the meeting covering this item is scheduled for publication in volume VII.
