244. Editorial Note
In a letter of June 5, President Eisenhower replied to President Kubitschek’s letter of May 28. Eisenhower suggested consultations between the two governments before they approached the other American Republics on matters affecting common interests and welfare. Assistant Secretary of State Rubottom delivered President Eisenhower’s letter to President Kubitschek in Rio de Janeiro on June 10.
