532. Editorial Note
The results of the elections held in Thailand on December 15 were not decisive. The final election returns were tabulated on December 27 and the vote was broadly distributed among a wide range of political parties. The moderate Unionist Party won 45 seats in Parliament and joined with the Army-supported National Socialist Party to form a government under former Defense Minister Thanom Kitti-kachorn.
