325. Reliably informed that Generalissimo will remain Taiwan only 1 week [to] complete organization new offices here, then proceed Chungking and Lanchow. Quirino [and] he may go Korea for Far East Union Conference middle August. New signatories to pact may subscribe only to principles or to one or more material commitments depending on each nation’s desire.
