On June 8 interview with officer Consulate General, Yeh Tu-yi, Democratic League official, stated his intention go Shanghai June 10, join Lo Lung-chi and Chang Lan,94 proceed Peiping on invitation Mao Tse-tung. Purpose trip is prepare for PCC95 which now planned for early August. Yeh said Democratic League hopes to be “bridge” between Chinese Communists and US and so change Communists’ present anti-American orientation.
