Kung) has committed volte-face from former position on American assistance Nationalist Government. [Page 154] Paper has recently aligned itself with Li Tsung-jen in factional split in Government and has given him and his peace program its staunch and unqualified support, evincing marked degree its distrust Sun Fo. There exists nevertheless possibility editorial summarized Reftel not in entire accord paper’s policy as American editor, N. F. Allman (well-known for uncompromising support Generalissimo and program all-out Chinese), has been absent from Shanghai number days.
