After an exchange of views, the Council agreed to refer the question to the Deputies for consideration in the light of the observations made during the discussion by the French, U.K., U.S.S.R. and U.S. Delegation.

The Council heard the report presented by Mr. Gregory, Chairman of the Committee.

The Council noted that the Committee had made no progress in its work since the report tabled on 9th May (C.F.M. (46) 59)33 and instructed the Committee to continue working on the questions on its agenda.

The Council instructed the Reparation Committee to prepare a report for 11 a.m. on 15th May.

4. Withdrawal of the Allied Forces from Italy after the conclusion of the Peace Treaties

The United States and U.K. Delegations pointed out that this question was connected with the problem of maintenance of the lines of communication with the allied zones of occupation in Austria.
