4729. We welcome the information set forth in your Comea 61 (Embassy’s 4655 of June 10).³¹ With respect to the question of consultation with other Allied Governments, we very much hope for definite recommendations at an early date, particularly in view of the developments reported in Schoenfeld’s Nater [Neter] 11, June 10, 4 p.m. Department’s views on consultation were explained in its 374T of May 10, 9 p.m.³² and its instruction 4067 of May 13.³³

Please keep Schoenfeld as well as the Department fully informed of all developments on this subject.
