Reference Legation’s telegram 2442, July 3, Legation learns from reliable source that Hjalmer Poehl, mentioned as intermediary between two German SS officials and Legation’s alien radio monitor, is known as one of most important German agents operating in Baltic States and has been operating on behalf of German Intelligence Service during trips between Sweden and Estonia.
