Memorandum by the Adviser on Political Relations ( Dunn ) to the Secretary of State

Referring to the last paragraph, numbered 4, of the British memorandum containing the text of telegram dated December 25 from Mr. Eden, hereto attached,²¹ I informed Mr. Michael Wright, Secretary²² of the British Embassy, that this Government was fully in accord with the proposed reply to be made by the British Government to the reported approach from German sources.
