The Ambassador in Brazil (Caffery) to the Secretary of State
[Received 7:12 p.m.]
4572. Aranha20 asked me today to say to you that he has read in the newspapers of the early organization of a Mediterranean committee or commission and he trusts that in view of Brazil’s interests in Northwest Africa and intention to send troops to the Mediterranean theatre, Brazil will not be forgotten in the organization of the commission or committee.
- Oswaldo Aranha, Brazilian Minister for Foreign Affairs.↩
