Castillo, Spanish Minister here, strongly intimated to my Belgian colleague a few days ago that the Spanish Government would welcome the presence of strong American forces in proximity to the Spanish Moroccan frontier as a counter-weight to the German forces in German occupied France on the Spanish border.
