141. Please transmit the following secret message signed Marshall to Amler.
It has been agreed by the RAF to extend its West Africa patrols to include defense of the coast of Liberia. For this purpose British have been granted by the War Department permission to operate W/T pack set at Roberts Field and at Fisherman Lake naval radio set for purpose of communicating with Naval and Air patrols off shore. Details as to operational control and location will be arranged by you in collaboration with local representative of Royal Air Force.
