73. The Prime Minister⁴ was very much pleased when I communicated to him the contents of the Department’s 66, March 13. He said that he would like to be informed as soon as it can be made public as he wishes to give it the widest possible publicity here.

He volunteered the statement that he is keeping in mind the matter of the expulsion of Japanese Legation.⁵
