167. Your 316, June 26. Please tell Prime Minister that delay in furnishing advisers has in no way been due to lack of interest on part of this Government. On contrary, Department has been and is continuing to make every effort to locate suitable men. We fully appreciate importance of this question and hope to achieve concrete results in near future. Prime Minister will understand that demands of our own war effort make it doubly difficult to secure services of men with high qualifications needed for such positions.
