The Minister in Iran (Dreyfus) to the Secretary of State

141. Both Shah and Prime Minister have requested me to express to Department their hope that the arrival of the American advisers requested will not be long delayed. They now wish to have three additional advisers for finance and aviation and an army engineer. I suggested that they make formal request for these advisers to the Department through the Iranian Minister in Washington and the Prime Minister stated he would do so.
