Memorandum by the Chief of the Division of Near Eastern Affairs (Alling)84
[Washington,] July 3, 1942.
The Greek Prime Minister will return to Washington on July 9, and desires to sign the master Lend-Lease Agreement the following day. We are informed by TA85 and TD86 that those Divisions know of no reason why the ceremony should not take place at that time.
If you approve, we shall request the Treaty Division to have the document ready for signature on the morning of July 10.87
