Decision of the United States to recognize that a state of war existed with Hungary, Bulgaria, and Rumania ¹

On December 12, 1941, in the case of Rumania, and December 13, 1941, in the case of Hungary and Bulgaria, the Governments of Rumania, Hungary, and Bulgaria notified the United States Government that a state of war existed between them and the United States.
