TF–49. Board at meeting today, which chairman invited me to attend as observer, decided to change its official rate for Chinese national currency to 51/16 United States cents and 31/64 pence to be effective [Page 530] as from the opening of business July 10. Banks selling rate will be 5 United States cents and 3 pence. [Adler.]
