658. Announcement was made today of the signing this morning of the convention of peace between France, for French Indochina, and Thailand, with three protocols annexed, the Japanese-French protocol, and the Japanese-Thai protocol.99
[Page 148]A statement issued by the board of information summarizing the contents of the peace treaty and the protocols has been sent via air mail to Shanghai for transmission to the Department.1
