Please inform British Embassy that in view of certain developments in the local situation I would suggest confining ourselves for the moment to communicating informally to Conty only paragraphs 1 and 2 and perhaps substance of subheadings 1, 2, 5 and 6 under paragraph 3. That is really about all he asked for and the rest we can tell him as soon as French authorities have definitely decided to discuss terms.
