570. My 569, June 21 [22], 9 a.m. General Antonescu has proclaimed full mobilization of the Rumanian land, air and marine forces, and has himself taken command of the combined German-Rumanian forces on the Rumanian front.

Mihai Antonescu, formerly Minister without Portfolio, and recently Minister of National Propaganda, has been named Vice President of the Council of Ministers, and is charged with the exercise of the functions of the Leader of the State during General Antonescu’s absence.
