118. Your 136, April 3, midnight. The Department wishes you to use your good offices to the end that the Hungarian Government may understand how any support given acts of aggression against Yugoslavia is bound to be regarded in this country. Under existing law [Page 301] this Government will exert every effort to assist those nations which are defending their independence and integrity against aggression.

I assume that all information reaching you from the United States (including the Radio Bulletin) is used by you to emphasize the scope of the American Nation’s determination.
