4216. Your 3567, November 23, 1 p.m.26 Foreign Office note dated yesterday expresses appreciation for Department’s offer of assistance27 in transmitting Palestinian immigration certificates. It states that the Department’s understanding of the procedure to be followed and the responsibilities involved is entirely correct. The High Commissioner in Palestine has been requested to furnish information concerning the procedure to be followed in connection with the issue of these certificates and a further communication on this subject is promised.
