Referring to the Legation’s telegram No. 265, December 5, 2 p.m., the Prime Minister and the Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs on the occasion of my official calls and the Shah himself when I presented my letter of credence all pointedly expressed interest in the early conclusion of the trade agreement.

Report⁹² called for in Department’s 119, November 19, 5 p.m. will be forwarded in the next pouch, December 28, for transmission via trans-Atlantic airmail.
