In view of the repeated radio announcements from Germany that the Turkish Minister for Foreign Affairs has gone or is going to Athens to assist in arranging a compromise between Greece and Italy, it is perhaps not superfluous to report that the Minister has never entertained any such intention and is inclined to regard the reports as inspired by the Italians.
