252, My 250, August 10 [11], 2 p.m.29 Tass communiqué issued last night states that as agreed between the Soviet Union and Japan on August 10 hostilities in the zone of Lake Khasan ceased on August 11 at 13:30 local time. The first meeting of military representatives of both sides for the purpose of fixation of the position of troops took place south of Height Zaozernaya (Changkufeng) on the evening of August 11. The next meeting is scheduled for 12 noon August 12.
