Chinese authorities state that three squadrons of planes this morning bombed and set on fire Japanese landing force headquarters and the Kunzta factory where Japanese ammunition is stored and [Page 408] attempted to bomb Japanese cruiser Idzumo but missed and hit wharf. Also several Chinese planes were hit, only one has as yet failed to return.
