Sir: In reference to the Department’s telegram No. 36 of September 29, 1937, I have the honor to report that I have today addressed a Note23 to His Excellency John Metaxas, President of the Council and Minister for Foreign Affairs, formally withdrawing the notice of abrogation of the Extradition Treaty of May 6, 1931, between the United States and Greece, which was delivered to the Greek Government on November 6, 1933,24 pursuant to the Department’s telegraphic instruction No. 55 of November 4, 1933.23
