295. General Chiang Kai Shek arrived Nanking this afternoon. No interview with the Japanese Ambassador arranged as yet so far as can be learned. Kuwashima,31 special emissary of the Japanese Foreign Office to the Japanese Ambassador, is expected in Nanking morning of October 6.
