Your November 5, 9 p.m.80 Consul Vigo reports that sentence of death has actually been passed against Lamas and that General Franco alone can prevent his execution as Captain General, Eighth Division, La Coruna, highest insurgent authority in Vigo district, states that he himself has no power to pardon or to commute the sentence of the court martial. Please bring the extreme urgency of the case to the attention of General Queipo de Llano.
