185. My 177, June 22, 10 a.m. Ministers of Industries and Navy confirm remarks of officials previously mentioned. Both state Pratas Reef is of no real value and could not be used for naval or aviation station. According to the latter the sea frequently washes over it and while the Chinese Navy maintains a weather report broadcasting station there a former lighthouse has been abandoned.
