32. Although it is understood that the Greek Government is tendering payment of 35 percent of the face value of the coupons falling due from time to time on its foreign loans, this Government has received no payment on the amounts due May 10 under Part II of the Debt Agreement of May 10, 1929, and has received no communication from the Greek Government regarding them.
If you perceive no objection, please inquire confidentially and informally of the International Financial Commission as to its action with reference to this situation.
