Sir: Referring to your instruction No. 264 of August 2, 1935, directing me to ascertain the attitude of the Spanish Government toward the Roerich Pact, I have the honor to report that I consulted the Foreign Office and was informed that when the Spanish Government had been officially informed that this Convention had been signed and ratified by all the American Republics it would adhere to it.6
