25. Department’s telegram No. 16, November 12, 4 p.m. Note in Anders case, which was sent the Minister of Foreign Affairs July 18, was followed October 17 by oral request for expedition of reply, supplemented by memorandum same date. Oral representations and note regarding Anders, Trajan and Reidun cases made at the Foreign Office today. It has today been ascertained from appropriate official that Anders case has been referred by the Ministry of Commerce to the Minister of Justice; that judicial investigation is now being made and that pertinent note will be sent very shortly to the Legation. Despatch follows.72
